| The Department of Ocean Engineering has created infrastructure facilities for carrying out Quality work in R & D and teaching in the area of Ocean Engineering. The major facilities are listed below: |

| Wave Basin (30 x 30 x 3 m deep) equipped with Multi-element wave maker (MEWM) (52 paddles) capable of producing short crested waves & Long crested wave maker (LCWM) capable of producing regular and random waves |
